Treatment
To help us make the most of your visit, please complete your patient registration forms ahead of time. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of your current medications, allergies, and any relevant past surgeries. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to check in and complete any remaining paperwork. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows your physical therapist to easily assess and treat the affected area.
During your initial appointment, your physical therapist will conduct a thorough evaluation. This includes reviewing your medical history, discussing your concerns or symptoms, and performing a physical assessment—which may involve testing your range of motion, strength, posture, gait, and movement patterns. Based on these findings, your therapist will develop a personalized plan of care tailored to your specific needs and goals.
You may receive education and initial treatments designed to reduce pain and begin the healing process. Home exercises may also be provided to support your progress between sessions.
Before you leave, your therapist will discuss your goals and recommend the frequency and duration of your physical therapy visits. Our front desk team will help you schedule your follow-up appointments. If you have any questions at any point, please don’t hesitate to contact us—we’re here to help you every step of the way.
